JavaScript   Netscapes JavaScript resource Client-Side JavaScript Reference v1.3. Many people don't like JavaScript, but I do and I used it in many projects.I'm sure there are sometimes better alternative solutions than to use JavaScript, but you must know JavaScript first to decide, right ? Linux   Cox@Home service set up A little help how to set up Cox@Home on your Linux box, since Cox technitians don't have a clue about Linux. This instalation is much easier if you're running something recent, line RedHat 7.1 and above. Anyway, I always surprise the Cox guys while trouble shooting the connetion over the phone by my "restart your computer with the new network settings" responses, when after typing "/etc/init.d/network restart" and a 5 second delay I say "DONE" - but it's still not working.   Linux applications Many Linux apps , mostly free.   linux today THE Linux news   RPM builds hard to find FTP server with RPMs for my Linux box. I look at this site almost daily, there so much to read and learn.   Source Forge Place to get many great source codes and applications. Good place to learn how to program from real applications.
